All 10th and 11th grade students will take the PSAT at Sherman High School on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. The test is free for students and no sign up is required. For more information, contact your child's counselor.    

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It is a standardized test that provides practice for the SAT® and gives students the chance to enter scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools. This test measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills, and writing skills.
