About Me

  • I am so excited to be starting my 6th year here in ShermanISD!

    Just a little about me:

I was born in New Jersey but grew up in Garland, Tx.
I graduated from Garland High school in 2007 and received my Associates degree in 2010.
I then transferred to Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2014.
My focus being Deaf Education. I took my first Sign Language class in 2008 and have been involved with the Deaf Community since.
Recently, I went back to school to recieve my masters in Education Administration.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to have worked with schools for the Deaf in both Honduras and Haiti.

I am also currently attached to the hip by my husband, Joey Bartlett, and furbabies, Samson and Apollo.

I am also very blessed to have my parents as my hardworking role models. My mother is a teacher in Garlandisd and has been teaching for 18 years.

Last year, she was awarded Teacher of the Year for her campus and my father works nights at Dallas Morning news as the night foreman.

I am so excited to have you in my class this year!
