My name is Jaime Macon, and I will be teaching reading and writing. I look forward to getting to know your child this year. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am married to my wonderful husband, Trent. We are blessed with two children. Our son, Collin, will be starting his Freshman year at Sherman High School. Our daughter, Kyndall will enter 3rd grade this year as a Neblett Knight. These two keep us busy with piano, sports, & cheer; but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University with a specialization in Reading. I am also a certified Reading Recovery teacher. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I will strive to share my passion for reading so that my students develop a desire to become lifelong learners and readers. This will be my 20th year of teaching and I am excited to make it the best year yet!
